The winery has been declared sustainable from all perspectives: ecological, environmental and economic sustainability are the essential features required to gain the coveted certification granted by Agenzia Casaclima, issued to date to only two wineries, one of which is San Polo in Montalcino.

The San Polo winery was created in 2005 - and inspired by the principles of seamless integration with the landscape - to accommodate grapes from vineyards that are grown in accordance with the principles of organic viticulture and sustainability. It aspires to being the winery of ‘aesthetes and environmentalists’, capable of combining the most innovative building technology with the intelligent harnessing of natural resources and a touch of modern aesthetics.
